About Magento
The Magento (1) shop software was offered in two versions. The free Magento Community Edition for tech-savvy retailers, and the paid Magento Enterprise Edition. Magento Community only offered the core framework. The free version was not offered with any warranty. However, shop operators could always fall back on the Magento user community for advice and support. Magento Enterprise, on the other hand, entailed a complete solution with expansion options and support. Magento (1) is no longer officially available since the release of Magento 2, and the Enterprise version can no longer be licensed.
The custom versions Market Ready Germany and Magento DE were developed specifically for Germany, as the original versions did not meet the legal requirements of the German market. Market Ready Germany is quite similar to Magento Community/Open Source, and Magento DE is comparable to the Enterprise/Commerce version.
